Hi there! I’m Anna - proud cat mom, New Yorker and lover of all animals, especially kitties!

I currently work at Revlon on the global marketing and sales teams. While I love my job I’ve been wanting to find work on the side that is more fulfilling and gives back in a meaningful way (marketing cosmetics is fun but not heart warming per say, lol). This is where cat sitting comes in! It’s the purrfect blend of my love for animals and passion for creating a sense of comfort and care for animals in need. Outside of work, I love discovering new restaurants, reading, visiting museums and traveling to new countries. I’ve always valued independence and giving back so if I can take care of your beloved fur baby which in turns gives you the ability to go on vacation, a night out or on business travel it would truly be a pleasure!

I’ve been an animal lover all my life and I’m currently a cat mom to my 8yr old tabby, Margy (short for Margarita). I adopted her at 2 years old and it’s been a joy to watch her thrive! Before Margy, I was lucky to be a cat mom to 4 other kitties who have since crossed the rainbow bridge but were each unique and unforgettable. They taught me everything from how to administer medications to understanding the unspoken language of our fuzzy friends. Outside of my experience with cats, I have also gained experience caring for our family doggies: 2 yorkies, 2 yellow labs and 1 Anatolian Shepherd (they’re all full of personality and live with my dad!). Having a variety of animals has left me comfortable with all kinds of pet care, from ear drops, nail trims to vet visits.

I believe my strongest assets are emotional intelligence and the ability to be patient. I will always flex for the comfort level for any animal and will always find a way to understand their perspective so I can care for them in a way that suits their needs, builds trust and a sense of safety. I promise to take the time to understand your kitty’s personality and comfort zone and will go at their pace and will provide a calm, safe environment (with cuddles, spa brushes and pets if they allow it!). After all this is your fur baby and you all deserve a peace of mind knowing that they’re in attentive and loving hands. I’d be honored to look after your kitty or kitties while you’re away!

My service revolves around the understanding that not only is your cat majestic and purrfect but also that this a sentient being who is deeply important to you.

I would start with a call, face time or in-person meeting at your apartment to get to know one another and meet your fur baby. While at your place, we can go through any questions you have and get familiarized with your fur baby and place/building. For example, this is simply knowing your fur baby’s history, favorite places to hide, where their food, medicine, toys, litter, brushes etc. are kept and understanding the layout and rules of your building (if any) for entry and litter disposal purposes. The conversation will also include me taking notes on all of your fur babies preferences, medication needs, vet information, emergency numbers as well as your contact information (includes flight information in case your flight is delayed or cancelled so I will know to be on call in case of any sudden changes with your return date/time). I’ll also come prepared with knowledge of where the nearest animal hospital and urgent care centers are - just in case.

While you’re away, I’ll provide detailed texts during each visit on how your fur baby is doing! I love sending texts that confirms I’m at your place with your fur baby, detailing meal time, cuddles and pets, spa time (brushes!) and play time. I even make sure to share whether or not your cat is regular with the litter box. This also includes whether or not there were any hair balls (which I’ll clean up!). Of course, lots of photos will be shared! I love details and photos but if you want a shorter summary with videos only or anything customized - you got it. Your fur baby will be of paramount importance to me and will ultimately be my sole focus while I am with them!
