Nat & the Cats

I've had cats, loved cats, worked with cats, and given cats little scritches on their sweet chins for my whole life! I have 5 years of professional cat-sitting experience, many hours volunteering at shelters, and of course daily life with my own cat, Kiki. Kitties are one of my true passions, and every new cat I meet lights up my life.

Almost always, the first thing I do when I get to a cat-sitting client's house is get down on the ground! Think about it - if a stranger more than 5 feet taller than you walked into your apartment, you'd feel a little weird about it too. It's a strategy that's proven immensely successful over the years - it's nice to get sniffed at eye level! (And if the kitty doesn't come out, that's all right too, I understand.) After that, it's time for food & water, litter, treats, some cute photographs to send you, playing & cuddling - I go with the flow. I'm happy to sit on the couch or floor and read a book out loud just to be a human presence in the apartment.

I am centrally located in Manhattan, which means I cover almost all of Manhattan, Long Island City, Downtown Brooklyn & Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg, and potentially more. Discounts offered to clients in Hell's Kitchen, Chelsea, Hudson Yards, Murray Hill. If catsitting overnight, I'll go anywhere in the 5 boroughs accessible by transit.

I am COVID Cautious - I'm happy to wear an N95 mask at an initial in-person visit and take any other precautions requested.
