Tidy & Patient Caretaker

I have long loved and taken care of cats, dogs and rabbits dating back to my childhood in Colorado. My partner Jeff and I live with our two 11-year-old rescue tabbies Beatrix & Bear, who have their own room and many toys. We frequently look after neighborhood friends’ pets when they travel. I am a freelance writer/producer, so I often have the time to devote to cat-sitting — and I really do enjoy making new animal friends.

I understand that cats run the gamut from aloof or even hostile, to needy, and sometimes very odd— our ginger cat likes to sleep on the dish rack and constantly needs his food bowl relocated. Each cat requires a customized approach. Some like to be coaxed out from under the bed to play, others need their space. I aim to send pics with my updates to owners but if cat(s) prefer to hide, I’ll just make sure food/water consumption and litter box production look normal. I am also more than happy to add a pet store shopping trip to my duties if you’re running low on supplies and leave funds.
